Claude Code CLI × GUI App: Plans and Skill Debugging Are Easier to Read in the App
CLI is great for parallel workflows, but it's easy to lose focus. For reading Plans or debugging Skills, the desktop or web app works better.
One thing I’ve noticed using the Codex app recently: the CLI is great for running tasks in parallel, but it also makes it easy for your attention to scatter.
When you need to focus — like reading through a Plan carefully, or observing AI behavior to debug a Skill — the desktop app or web version feels more suited for the job.
If you find yourself missing details or getting fatigued while reading Plans, give the app version a try.
